After a long intermission, I am finally back to blogging!! And lo and behold, 4 months have already passed since I moved out here to West Virginia!! How does time pass so quickly?
Cozy in my apartment with a fierce wind howling across the mountains. So much to ponder over, so many reasons to give thanks to God!! I see everyday how He came and prepared the way for me here in Keyser. When I first arrived, I spoke to many people who had lived in this area all of their lives and never planned on leaving. When they heard that I was a missionary, they would ask about all of the places that I'd been to. They loved to hear my stories, but many of them commented that they could never do anything like that.
That mindset is beginning to change. In a little less than a week, the town of Keyser is sending out a rather large missions team to Guatemala. I think at least 4 churches will be represented. 10 people from my church alone will be going. Many of these people have not ever left this area, let alone the country. Although they are nervous, they are so excited about what God is going to do in and through them in the 10 days they are gone. He's already performed many miracles to bring all of the finances in. I'll be waiting on pins and needles, ready to hear all of their stories the second they get back. I know that this trip will impact many lives, especially the lives of those going to minister. They will return changed!
